Obituary

Everyone is capable of being a hero. Like Ian's favorite Marvel Hero Spiderman who embodied value and character, IAN was our very own Hero!

Ian Hall was born on May 7, 2005, in Dallas, Texas to his loving parents Ivory Hall, III and Zenia Beth Hall. Ian was affectionately known as "Tink" and "The King of Mommy's Heart". Ian was loved and cherished patiently and unselfishly by everyone he encountered…especially family and friends.

As an active and dedicated member of Saint Paul Lutheran Church, where he and his family serve as faithful members, Ian conscientiously gave of his time and talent by serving as the audiovisual technician…always present and punctual.

Ian successfully completed his education in The Dallas Independent School District. While enrolled at San Jacinto and Blanton Elementary Schools, he was diagnosed with Autism. We knew that Ian was amazingly unique, however, educational awareness of his spectrum of Asperger's gave new meaning to advocacy as parents. His most exciting and memorable years were spent at Ann Richards Middle School. Ian put his uniqueness, tenacity, and greatness towards receiving his High School Diploma from W. W. Samuell High School in June, and his associate degree from East Field College in May.

Ian was a brilliant child that loved technology, and was most fond of video games, especially Mario Brothers. He spent a lot of his time watching his favorite T.V. shows, gaming, going on movie dates with Zoe and Keyshawn, shopping at the mall (GAMESTOP) with his daddy, eating his favorite meals of catfish nuggets and fries, rolling to McDonald's, Sonics, Dominoes or Cheddars, and lovingly arguing with his Aunt Nikki while sliding down the hallway in his socks and underwear!

Ian was preceded in death by his NaNa Beth Todd, his grandparents Ivory and Zelma Hall, and his adoptive Grandmother Mama G.

To Cherish his fond memories, Ian leaves his Amazing and Devoted Parents Ivory H. Hall, III and Zenia Beth Hall. Big Sister Zoe Phillips (Keyshawn), Big Brother Ivory, IV (Halie), Granny Lydia Dan, Grandfather Manuel Muhammad (Eartha), Uncle Zech (Janet), Uncle Robert (Angela), Uncles Joel, Victor and Josh, Aunts Nikki, Shonta', Felicia Michelle, Great aunt Shirley Barton, and a host of cousins and friends.

Everyone learned to embrace Ian's uniqueness, quirkiness, demands, and even his sarcasm—yes sarcasm! So, if you take a moment and look around the sanctuary, you can see, Ian spun a web of intrigue on the hearts of everyone. He was loving and stoic. Serious and silly. Kind and direct. Rest well, young "King of Mommy's Heart". You will be missed and cherished. Wear your blue and red cape (crown) in Glory. We will forever remember YOU! As Aunt Nikki said, "You never wanted to be touched, but you touched so many!"
