Herman James was born July 3, 1952 to the parents of Gardie and Elmer James Sr. He is preceded in death by his wife Mavis James (2)sisters; Merlin Coleman and Willie James (4) brothers; J.W.     Davis, Austin Foster, Albert James, and Donald James Ray.

Those left to cherish his memory are  his brother; Elemer James Jr, sister ; Linda Faye Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
