Harold D. Jenkins was born on March 13, 1934 in Powderly, Texas to Earnest and Earlie Mae Jenkins. He was a hard working person that loved all people. He loved his family and he also loved working with trees.

He was married to Florence for many years.

Harold leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife Florence; (8) children: Sandra Jenkins, William Jenkins, Carla Hearn, Debra Jenkins, Lawrence Jenkins, Jennette Jenkins, Vincent Cox and Jamieson Cox; (1) sister Tommie Gaines; (3) brothers: Rev. Aron Jenkins, R.L. Jenkins and James Jenkins; (20) grandchildren; (43) great grandchildren along with a host of other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
