Gracie Lavon Taylor was born to the parentage of Lewis and Gladys Lively on July 7, 1947 in Dallas, Texas. She attended Dallas Public Schools and graduated from Lincoln High School.  She accepted Christ at an early age and united with Ewing Ave Baptist Church were she was a devoted member for many years.

Gracie was a spirited and loving person who adored her family and friends dearly. She was a funny and quick-witted person who brought joy and laughter to all that knew her. She had a love of children and spent her career as a daycare provider.

She was proceeded in death by her mother Gladys Lively, father Lewis Lively Sr., sister Mary Alice Aubrey, brother Lewis Lively Jr, and her beloved son Damien Taylor.

Gracie Lavon Taylor leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Latonya LaSha' Taylor, son Ernest Cleveland, her grandchildren Devonte' Taylor (Brandon Strogen), Da'Von Russell, Devondria Russell. Sister MaeFrancis Johnson, brother Samuel Wilhite and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Gracie always had a soft heart and never met a stranger. She will be greatly missed.
