Gaylon Cooks was born on October 12, 1965 in Dallas, Texas. He was the 4th son born to Mr. & Mrs. Azell & Henrietta Cooks. He attended the Dallas Independent School District.

He was employed with Doctors Hospital and the Salvation Army Thrift Store. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at the Wheatly Church of God In Christ pastored by Bishop J. Neal Haynes.

Gaylon was a happy child. Later, there was a time where the enemy tried to destroy him, but his mother and family kept praying. In November of 2023 God answered our prayers and Gaylon started to live for the Lord Jesus with all his heart. He would share his testimony with anyone who would listen.
