Fred "Freddie" Ray Williams was born on July 16, 1947 to Annie Ruth Lakes and James Williams in Rockwall, Texas. He attended Rockwall ISD. He retired from Sears. For 58 years, he was married to the love of his life Jo Ann Williams.

He loved playing softball, dominoes and spades. He was a family man and loved spending time with his family. He was a member of Cedar Grove Christian Church for over 20 years serving faithfully on the usher board and a passionate caretaker of the church.

Freddie is preceded in death by his parents: Annie Ruth Lakes and James Williams, one son Marvin Joe Williams, granddaughter Maliyah Rae Terry and a grandson Michael Douglas Terry, Jr.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories to his devoted wife Jo Ann Williams; (3) children: Terrence Williams, Shelia Terry (Michael) and Keith Williams (Elaine); daughter-in-law Debra Williams; (9) grandchildren: Orlando "OJ" Williams, Shanell Williams, Brandon Williams, Ashley Jackson, Emily Williams, Portia Sims, Teraya Williams, Allysa Williams, Alex Williams; (17) great grandchildren; (1) great great grandchild along with a host of other relatives and friends.
