Flora Lee Jenkins was born on November 19th, 1943 in Leonard, Texas to Thodi and Houston McCarty. She went home to the Lord on August 6th, 2026 at home surrounded by her family. She was a homemaker, who loved church, her family and especially her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Harold Jenkins and grandson Corey Cooper, three sisters and three brothers.

Flora leaves behind to cherish her memories (6) children: Sandra Jenkins, William Jenkins (Latonia), Carla Hearn (Richard), Debra Jenkins, Jeanette Jenkins and Lawrence Jenkins; (19) grandchildren: Harmony, Rita, Antonio, Monita, Marcus, Lakashia, Markeith, Latoya, CyQuinya, Carl, Latesy, Royce, Corey, LaTasha. Berkeija, Andre (Bianca), Demetrius, Kwame and Muntaz; (4) siblings: Glenda Randall, Robert McCarty (tina), Marshall McCarty and Francis McCarty along with a host of other family and dear friends.
