Eugene "PeeWee" Hale was born on August 16, 1959 in Henderson, Texas to the late Ida M. Else and Smiley Wright. He graduated in the Dallas Independent School   District.

He joined New Jerusalem COGIC. He was employed by DISD and later became an Industry Worker. He loved cooking, his family, playing dominoes and The Dallas Cowboys.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, Stepfather Thomas Else Jr. and sister Kathy Else.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his soulmate Mary Wallace; (3) daughters: Octavia Beasley, Genesis Arthur and Hummayarn  Greer (Shay); (3) stepdaughters: Veronica Warren, Felicia Wallace and Brittany Bobo; (1) stepson John Beard; (3) brothers: Thomas Welch, Thomas Else II (Lucille) and Walt Else (Karen); (2) sisters: Mona Blakely (Benard) and Teresa Graves; (19) grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.
