Esther Lene Floyd was born January 29,1966 in Dallas, Tx to Otis and Hazel Floyd Jr. She received her formal education and graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1984. She also received her Associates of Arts from the University of Phoenix.

Esther accepted Christ at a young age .She attended Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. L.J. Taylor. In her later adult years she joined Community Baptist Church under the leadership of A.L. Banks until her health wouldn't allow her to.

She worked for Target and Dallas Bethlehem Center until health no longer permitted her to. Esther loved her             family ,friends and children especially her own and grandchildren. She was a very sweet person that would keep a smile on your face.

She is preceded in death by her parents Otis and Hazel Floyd Jr; brothers Otis Floyd III , Clifford Floyd Sr. and Michael D. Floyd.

Esther leaves behind the love of her life Albert Rouwtt of 34 years, her daughter Sharon Jackson (Javae) and son Michael Rouwtt;  grandchildren: Hazel Grant, Jayden Fortenberry,    Quantae Green and a host of aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins, in laws, god sisters/brothers, other family and dear friends.
