Obituary

Once upon a time on December 21, 2011 "The Queen" was born by the name of Erin Jazmine Savage, affectionately known as "Chipmunk" to the royal parents of Aaron and Deajah Savage in Dallas, Texas. She was cherished and loved by everyone she encountered, especially her family and friends. As an active and dedicated member of Inspired to Live Church, where she and her family faithfully served, Erin generously contributed her time and talents to the online presence and community outreach team. She was also an integral part of ITL's youth department. She attended North Richland Middle School in North Richland Hills, TX, where she was beloved by faculty, staff and students.

On September 11, 2023, Erin was diagnosed with DIPG at Children's Medical Center, where she was deeply loved by many. Despite the challenges she faced, Erin's spirit remained vibrant and full of life. She had a passion for creativity, expressing herself through arts and crafts, DIY projects, cooking and baking. She found joy in studying the Bible, spending time with friends, taking walks, and enjoying a good Tv show.

Even in the face of adversity, Erin's smile and laughter were constant. She had the innate ability to encourage others, always offering words of support and positivity, even amidst her own struggles. Erin's resilience and unwavering spirit touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Erin was preceded in death by her great grandparents: Sandra Savage, Walter Burley, Susan Jones, Mary McCall and Willie McCall, and her grandfather Cedrick Booker.

She leaves to cherish her enchanting memories to the most amazing and devoted parents: Aaron and Deajah Savage; two big sisters: De'Kihya Washington and Mercedes Savage; her grandparents: Tina Booker, Michelle Savage, Dennis and Elizabeth Savage, Marlon McCall and Anjanette Spencer; great grandparents: Leroy & Carrie Thompson and Dewight Savage; two aunts: Shuntia Sowels and Marcella Smith; one uncle Deshaud Armstead; three cousins: Angelica Agee, Caleb Agee and Adonis Agee; her best friends: Ariyanna Davis and Kennedi Price along with a host of other family and friends too numerous to name.

Though her time on Earth was far too short, the light Erin brought into this world wll never fade. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, a testament to a life lived with joy, creativity, and unwavering faith. May she rest in eternal peace, her spirit forever inspiring us to embrace life with a smile and to encourage others, no matter the challenges we face.
