Eric Dewayne Thomas, "Frizzle Top", was born on March 4, 1989 to the parents of Lisa Johnson and David Thomas. He attended Wilmer Hutchins School District. At an early age Eric attended Pureword Church in Lancaster, TX under the leadership of Bishop Robert Ellis. He also played pop-warner football for the Oak Cliff Bears.

He was a comedian at  heart. He loved telling jokes and making people laugh. To know him was to love him.

Eric is preceded in death by his grandfather Bishop Walter Johnson Sr., grandmothers: Laverne Johnson and Tonalaa Thomas.

He leaves behind to cherish  his memories his mother Lisa Levy (Keith) and father David Thomas; (3) brothers: Tyrone Johnson (Josclyn), Damien Crutchfield and Elijah Thomas; (1) sister Latoya Thomas; grandmother Lois Johnson; (2) special aunts: Shenickle Hunter and Pennie Williams; a very special god-mother Birdie L. Grant; god-father Lenzell McCallister; god-sister Erica McCallister along with a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
