Elnora Dews

Elnora Myles Dews was born to James Miles Sr. and Olivia Coleman on December 20th, 1934 in Rayville, Louisianna. She was a mother of three children. She later moved to Dallas, TX, where she married Younger Dews. A few years later she gave her life to Christ. On September 15, 2026 she departed this life, no more pain, no more suffering.

She is preceded in death by two daughters: Eula Harris and Earnice Dennis, eight siblings: Rosemary Eubanks, Maxine Slaughter, Olivia Gaye, Evelyn Anderson, James Myles Jr, Dewy Miles, Othan Carter and Otis Carter.

Elnora leaves behind to cherish her memories: one son Melvin Myles (Gwen); one sister Lizzie McGayden; one brother Drew Carter along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
