Elmer Davis Jr. was born in Dawson, TX on October  29, 1959 to the parentage of Alene Davis and Elmo Davis. He began his education at Dawson Elementary. After moving to Dallas he attended Oliver Wendell Holmes and finishing at Franklin D. Roosevelt.

"Jr" was the "WARRIOR"!! Of the family. He also was a very known across the city. He never met a stranger.

He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his lord and Savior. He was preceded in death by his parents Alene & Elmo Davis, brother Gregory Davis and nephew David Ray Davis.

"Jr." leaves behind to cherish his memories son Christopher Jackson (Lawanda); (5) grandchildren:  Brae'Anah Jackson, Cornelious Jackson, Kameron Jackson, Kamira Jackson and Kamora Jackson; sister Janett Davis; (3) nephews: Marcus Cooper, Anthony Price and Floyd Spencer Jr.; great nephew Nahkai House; niece Shaquita Spencer; great niece Makenzie Spencer along with other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
