Douglas Paul Wilson was born on September 21, 1954 to Elnora Wilson and Earnest Wilson in Dallas, TX. He received his formal education in the Dallas Independent School District graduating from Wilmer-Hutchins High School.

He was a very outgoing person. He loved to party and being the life of the party. He loved hanging with his family and friends. Most of all he loved dancing and listening to music.

Douglas is preceded in death by his parents: Elnora and Earnest Wilson, (2) brothers: Kenneth Wilson and Earnest Wilson, (2) sisters: Virginia Wilson-Hobbs and Beverly   Wilson-Thomas.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory (1) daughter Latashia Mitchell (Gabriel); (1) God sent child, Ryan Nelson; (2) granddaughters: Nevaeh Mitchell and Nakayla Mitchell; (2) sisters: Sheena Wilson-Johnson (Jerry) and Teresa Wilson; (1) aunt Francis Wilson; (1) uncle Ed Wilson along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
