Doris Elizabeth Burney Johnson was born September 21, 1957 to the percentage of Elizabeth McKnight and Sylvester Graves, both preceded her in death.

She accepted Christ at an early age as a Baptist in West Dallas, Texas. She received her formal education at W.H.     Adamson High School in Dallas Independent School District.

Doris departed this vessel January 15, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband James Johnson, mother Elizabeth McKnight, father Sylvester Graves and brother Rickey Burney.

Doris leaves to cherish her memory (3) children: Edward Burney, Corey Burney (Kellea Bandy) both of Dallas, Texas and Rosaria Burney of Houston, Texas; (6) grandchildren: Zachary Burney, ZaKhia Burney and ZaiShanee all of Dallas, Texas, Sariyah Toliver, Jina'zi Jacobs and Jiny'la Jacobs all of Houston, Texas; (3) siblings: Marilyn Polk, Ervin McKnight and Teresa McKnight all of Dallas, Texas; (1) niece Michelle Burney of Dallas, Texas; (3) nephews: LaVictor McKnight, Anthony and Dwayne McKnight; (1) aunt Gloria Baker and (1) uncle Marion Hill both of Dallas, Texas and a host of other relatives and friends.
