Desmond Davon Reed "Dez" was born on June 5th, 1997 to Stephen King and Shawana Reed in Dallas, Texas. He completed most of his schooling in Dallas ISD  and graduated from Cedar Hill High School.

He was the middle child on both his mother and father side. (Marcus, Sir Denard, Twonika, Ghezelle, Stephen II, Patrick, Darius, Cassandra, Shamar, Tatiana, and Alonzo.)

He had dreams to become a photographer and an Actor because of his passion for taking pictures and acting. He enjoyed finding new recipes to try, as well as making videos of himself and his lifestyle. As a child Dez loved dancing, singing and doing hair with his loved ones. Being around his family and friends brought true happiness to him.

Desmond joined and gave his life to Christ at Cedar Crest Church of Christ in Dallas, TX on July 24, 2011.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Shawana Reed.

He will be lovingly remember by his Father Stephen King (Michelle King); His Siblings, Marcus Reed,  Sir Denard King, Twonika King, Ghezelle Gipson, Stephen King II, Patrick Levels, Darius Smallwood, Cassandra King, Shamar Johnson, Tatiana King, and Alonzo King; Great grandmother Bessie Faye Smith along with a host of other relatives and friends.
