Denita Ogechi was born on September 4, 1985 in Dallas, Texas to the parentage of Australia Charles Higgins Jr. & Brenda Higgins. She accepted Christ at an early age. She attended Pegasus Charter School. She had a passion for cooking and family time.

She is preceded in death by her father Australia Higgins Jr., two brothers Phillip Higgins and Timothy Moore, grandfather Australia Higgins Sr., grandmothers: Emma Moore and Verma Lee Higgins, three aunts Laura Higgins, Linda Higgins and Janice Betts and two uncles: Marvin Moore and David Lee Higgins.

Denita leaves behind to cherish her memories three daughters: Tatiana Langston, Tiana Cooper and Tayliana Cooper; her mother Brenda Higgins; one sister Verma Higgins; three aunts: Marilyn Tyler, Sharon Powell and Linda Johnson along with a host of other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
