David Ulysess Kirk, age 61 of Dallas, TX transitioned to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 13th, 2025. He was born on April 20th, 1964, to Ray Ulysess Kirk and Jo'Anne Antwine who both preceded him in death. In 1982 he graduated from David W. Carter High School & was a    member of Friendship-West Baptist Church.

His journey on this earth was one marked by faith in God, love & compassion. David found joy in spending time with his family & coaching boys' basketball. He coached for many years including a season with his son before stepping down & passing over the team to him. Remember David not for the way his life ended but for the way it was lived and for the impact his life had on others. His favorite things to quote/say were, "Patience is a Virtue" and "Do it the same way every time". Your memory lives on in our hearts.

He is also preceded in death by his brother Donnie Kirk.

David is survived by his wife of 30 years, Tenna Kirk and his cherished son Dominique Kirk; (4) brothers: Drake Kirk, Bryan Kirk Sr., Kenneth Kirk & Patrick Murria; (3)   sisters Charisse Kirk, Rosalinda Echols & Cynthia Scott; Along with his loving Aunts, Uncles, several nieces,        nephews, cousins & dear friends.
