Danna Pearl Wright was born on February 27, 1951 to the parentage of Louis McNeil and Ada B. Thomas in Roberts County. She went to the Dallas independent School District for her formal education.

She enjoyed singing and fishing. She loved walking and spending time with her grandchildren. She was really just a private person and you would always see her with her shades on.

She is preceded in death by her husband Oliver Glen Wright, her parents Louis McNeil and Ada B. Thomas, Son-in-law Steven Roberts, nephew Melvin Davis Jr. and grandson Steven Roberts Jr (Mookie).

Danna leaves behind to cherish her memories (3)children: Ada Moten, Elvis Moten and Shelia Roberts; (11) grandchildren: April (Edward) Jackson, Eddie Moten, DaKerrick (Ashley) Moten, Jhadonna Moten, Ebonye Moten, Darrell Carter, Chris Roberts, Zack (Micaela) Roberts, Elizabeth Moten, Elijah Moten and Deanna Craig; (3) siblings: Frances (Melvin) Davis, Louis  (Terry) Leonard and Bennett (Torina) Leonard; (1) niece Torie Leonard; (1) nephew Morris Davis; (20) great grandchildren; (2) great great grandchildren; (4) great nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.
