On March 6, 1960, Cynthia  "Kelly" was born in Dallas, TX to the parents of Matthew Lewis and Sidney     Chancellor who proceeded her in death. Cynthia          accepted Christ at an early age, where she remained faithful until God called her home. She received her formal education from DISD and graduated as a mighty Tiger from Lincoln High School. She went on to assist with child development while  working for Sidney's Child Care. She later retired from the Dallas Independent School District. Kelly departed this earthly life April 16, 2022.

She is preceded in death by her baby sister, Sherri "Redd" Lewis and her eldest son, Darrell "Money" Lewis.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her youngest son: Kenya Coleman (Avashun Pace); (13) grandchildren: Di'Aunsee Young, Daija Barnes,  Emajane Lewis, Sidney Lewis, Madyson Lewis, Morgen Lewis, Darrell Dewayne Lewis, Jr. (Nicole Johnson), Keiontay Coleman, Keion Coleman, Kenya Coleman, Jr. Kendyle Coleman, Kylie Coleman and Kayla Coleman; (2) great    grandchildren; Billyon and Kamari Blaza;  (1) sister Lashon Lewis; (3) brothers:  Cedric Lewis (Inett Lewis), Billy Chancellor, Jr., Ocie Chancellor; (3) nieces; Shannon Lewis (Isaac), Labrannon Lewis-Sneed (Reginald), Tierra Nichols; (1) nephew; Gerald Lewis  and a host of aunts, uncles, great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
