Corey Deante Bogan was born September 8, 1978 in Dallas, TX to the parentage of Judy Lynne Bogan and Larry Dean Taylor. He attended Clara Oliver Elementary School, Boude Storey Junior High and South Oak Cliff High School.

Corey was fun, loving and full of life. He was a #1 fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He had a smile that would light up the room.

He was on his way home to show his love ones the man he had become, his family and friends were so excited, but God had bigger and better plans.

He accepted the Lord several years ago. He went home to be with the Lord at the age 42 years young.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Jewell    Bogan, grandfather James Bogan, step-grandmother   Doris Bogan, uncle David Bogan and grandfather Hosea Taylor.

Corey leaves to cherish his memories parents: Judy      Bogan and Larry Taylor (Carolyn); son, Kenyu Johnson; grand children, Luke Alexander Johnson and Athena   Mari Johnson; grandmother Bobbie Taylor; sisters, Tanesha Taylor, and Jametria Warren (James); brother, Larry Dean Taylor, Jr.; loving aunts, Jeannette Trunnell, Sherry Calloway (Carl), Shelia Smith, Angelia Cleamons, Lee Ann Taylor, Sylvia Robinson; a special great aunt Iva Dee Neal and uncle Marcus Taylor; best friend Mikel Ford and a host of nephews, cousins, other family and friends who love and miss him dearly.
