Christy Miller Gaffney was born on June 3, 1952 to Tiny McElroy and Willie Mae Williams in Frogville, OK and reared in Frogville Community. She graduated from Ft Townson High School.

On August 6, 1975 she married Wilbur Gaffney and to this union two children were born, Wilbert Gaffney Jr. and Christy Marie Gaffney. Her occupation was being a Home health provider, housewife as well as help raising many children. She loved gardening and telling everyone "home remedies."

Christy is preceded in death by her parents, Tiny McElroy & Willie Mae Williams, husband Wilbur Gaffney, son Wilbert Gaffney Jr., six brothers: Bennie Edwards, Malvies Williams, Arbrie Williams, Dorles Reece, Milburn McElroy and Quincy McElroy.

She leaves behind to cherish her loving memories one Christy Marie Gaffney of Grant, OK; three granddaughters: Oasis Gaffney of Dallas, TX, Amanda Calvin of Durant, OK and Destiny Gaffney of Paris, TX; one grandson Elijah Calvin of Grant, OK; one great grandson Josiah Mosley of Paris, TX; one sister Jean McElroy-Minter of Paris, TX; one brother Darnell Reece of Oklahoma City, OK along with a host of sister-in-laws, brother-in laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
