Chiquita Amaris Brown-Malafa was born on August 22, 1983 in Memphis , TN to Carol Virginia Miller and Willie Mark Bron Jr. She accepted Christ at an early age. She graduated from South Oak Cliff High School in 2001. Chiquita was a devoted mother to her sons Stephon, Adam, and Carlos.

She will be remembered for her incredible lively spirit and the matter of fact way she filled every room with laughter. Beyond her humor and strong personality, she had a deeply caring heart and was always there for those in offering support kindness and generosity without hesitation.

Chiquita is survived by her spouse Zenaph Malafa; her parents: Carol V. Bangs of Tipton, OK and Willie Mark (Carla) Brown Jr. of Memphis, TN and Wonda Antoine of Dallas, TX; (3) sons: Stephon Brown of Tipton, OK, Adam Brown of Memphis, TN and Carlos Knight Jr. of Dallas, TX; (4) siblings: D’Amour (Bradley) Washington of Dallas, TX, Rachael (Maurice) Cash-Dail of Redford, MI, Gabrielle Brown and Brandon Brown of Memphis, TN; grandmothers: Ruby Allen of memphis, TN and Hattie Pruitt aka “Granadear of Tipton, OK along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends who will deeply miss her forever and remember her.
