Obituary

Charlie Ray Wallace was born on August 28, 1954 in Paris, Texas. He was the 7th born to the late Vernon Sr and Lettie Wallace. He graduated from Paris High School, known to be a very good football player. He joined Faith Tabernacle Baptist Church and gave his life to Christ.

To know Charlie was to love him. He enjoyed life and loved being around his family and laughing. He didn’t do no arguing or fighting. He was known as a lover, having a nickname of “Charlie Chan The Ladies Man”, that his brother gave him. Charlie was a man of many talents and retired from Paris Industrial. He had many saying but his favorite was “Shut your mouth wide open”.

Charlie may have been a ladies man but, Sandra Fuller was the love of his life for over 40 years, whom also precedes him in death.

Other loved ones he joins in eternal life alongside his parents and Sandra are two siblings: Robert Wallace and Genola Fisher.

Charlie leaves to cherish many memories (3) bonus children: Cody Sikes (Clint), James Bryant and Rhonda Flowers-Barr; (9) siblings: Vernon Wallace (Shirley), Dorothy Wallace-Hailey, Betty Walker (Rev. Reginald), Rev. Charles Wallace Sr. (LaNita), Rita Wallace, Buster Hearne (Cheryl), Carolyn Rutledge (Will Brooks), Paula Wortham (Mike) and Billy Wayne Wallace; (8) grandchildren along with a host of other family and dear friends who will miss him dearly.
