Charlesetta Lane was born January 4, 1959 in Paris, Texas to the parentage of Virginia Mallory and the late Harry Mallory. She was a member of Faith Tabernacle Baptist Church. She entered eternal life on December 29, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her sister Beverly Prince.

Charlesetta leaves behind to cherish her memories her devoted husband Walter Lane; (3) sons: Zswalyn Tolbert, Quaadis Tolbert and Zakhari Tolbert; (1) daughter Taisha Tolbert; (9) grandchildren: Kiarnee Tolbert, Kenarius Tolbert, Talyah Tolbert, Neveah Tolbert, Asia Tolbert, Khari Tolbert, Amaya  Washington, Amaj Washington, Zakharia Tolbert; (1) sister  Celeste (Mack) Byrd; (3) brothers: Kenneth Mallory, Gregory Mallory and Larry Mallory; special friends Wanda Barr and Deborah Washington "Po Sam" along with other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
