Elder Charles Crosby was born on October 25, 1947 in Fate, Texas to the parents of Lemuel & Maggie Crosby. Charles was the father of two children, Christopher and Charlene Crosby.

He accepted Christ at an early age and begin his training by serving as the YPWW President. He was a drummer and loved playing for the church. At the age of 19 Charles  accepted his call to Ministry. Over the years he has served in many capacities of the Ministry including Pastor of the Shiloh COGIC, in Greenville, TX.

Elder Charles was also an Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He loved to travel.

He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher, his parents: Supt. Lemuel & Miss'ry Maggie Crosby, three sisters: Matha Cecil, Leola Mason, and Frances McCrary, one brother Larry Crosby, six stepsisters: Jewel, Ruthie, Ollie Joe, Vertilee, Billy France and Rita.

Elder Charles leaves to mourn his passing his daughter, Charlene; granddaughter, Raychel; two brothers: Supt. Tommy Crosby (Lola), Pastor Bobby Crosby (JoAnn); one sister Diane Whitfield (Bishop Earnest); one great grandchild along with a host of other family and friends.
