Carolyn Denise Robinson was born to the parents of Benny Richardson and Carrie Mae Roberts and raised by George Allen Sanders.

Carolyn attended Roosevelt High School in Dallas, Tx. Shortly after graduating, she received her RN Certification and pursued a career in Home Healthcare.

In 2001 she remarried, John Robinson. She loved having daily fish fry with family and friends, along with listening to her Betty White & Blues all night.

She was proceeded in death by her former husband, Aaron Lee Shannon Sr.; son, Aaron Lee Shannon Jr.; and daughter, LaTonya Denise Shannon.

Carolyn leaves behind to cherish her daughters, LaTosha Denise Shannon, Mier and Keir Robinson, (daughter-in-law) Keundra Denise Shannon, (goddaughters) Aliyah Shuntay Walton and Lisa Mae Anderson; grandchildren Trayveon Demond Valentine, Andria Denise Minter, Te'Zarhyia Denise Shannon and a host of other relatives and friends. A special thanks to her good friend, Harold McKinney for providing care and love to our mother in her time of need.
