Carolyn Morris was born in Dallas, Texas to the late Joe Eddie Price and Betty Jean Sanders on May 18, 1946, and confessed her life to Christ at an early age.

She attended Franklin D. Roosevelt High School in Dallas, Texas and was a graduate with the class 1967. She worked at Mostek for over 20 years before retiring. Carolyn had a  beautiful smile and big heart, and she was a stepper when it came to the dress code as she loved her savvy suits, hats, purses, and shoes to match. She also had a niche for decorating especially when the holidays came around.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Son Troy Price (Regina), Brother Paul Price, 8 grandchildren, Brandon Price, Mia Price, Darrion Price, Tramarion Price, Stanley Shakespear, Tiondala Andrews, KaShiya Andrews, Ja'Milla Andrews and 10 great children, JaNaija Coleman, Arion Price, Jayce Price, Erin Price, Maezziah Price, Brandon Price Jr. Nalani Scott, Addison Shakespear, KeTaihj Andrews, Kynidee Oliver, a special daughter Denise Tucker, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
