Carlton B. Palmer was born in January 28, 1954 in Kilgore, TX to the parentage of Carlton Palmer Sr. and Evelyn Lucas Palmer, both preceded him in death.

He accepted Christ at an early age. He was baptized at Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor I.B. Butler. Later he united with The Allen Chapel Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Moderator Dr. J.R. Allen. He was in the choir and active in Sunday School, BTU.

Carlton loved singing old time gospel songs. He used to sing in his grandmother's kitchen. He loved comic books. He was The #1 Cowboys Fan, although he loved all sports. He was a practical joker.

Carlton leaves to cherish his memories his children: Jason, Serena, Carlton, Carlisha and Clyde; sisters: Ramona, Suzette, Joycelyn, Cheryl and  Serida; sister-in-law: Maeretha; brothers: Buford and Mark; brother-in-laws: Al, Martin, Keith and Roqumore; special friend: Criss Shells; (13) grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
