Carl Ellis Maxey was born September 30, 1952 to the parentage of the late Phinus Maxey and Martha Maxey. He received his education in Dallas Public School District. He later met and married Clara Fuller and to this union three children were born.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories (3) children: Carl Maxey, Calvin Maxey and Chrystal Maxey; ex-wife Clara Maxey; (2) brothers: Dennis Maxey (Joan) and David Maxey; (1) sister Mary Grayson (Lenard Sr.) along with a host of other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
