Bud Thomas Jr. was born on December 10, 1949 in Forney, Texas to the parents of Bud Abe Thomas and Corine Reed Thomas. He graduated from Seagoville High School. He gave his life to Christ at an early age and he loved the Lord. He served as a dedicated deacon at Sandhill Missionary Baptist Church for many years.

On July 17, 1998 he married the love of his life Jennifer Thomas and to this union one daughter was born and he raised his bonus daughter.

Bud worked for and retired from Resistol/Hatco for over 17 years. He was a hard worker and dedicated to providing for his family. He was always there for anyone who needed him.

He is preceded in death by his parents Bud Abe Thomas and Corine Thomas and four siblings: Wayne Bank, Nathaniel Banks, Jr. Lee Thomas and Gladys Robinson.

Bud leaves behind to cherish his memories beloved wife Jennifer Thomas; daughter Quandra Sowels; bonus daughter Tara Sowels;  grandson Desmond Sowels; (3) sisters: Dorothy Richmond, Dianne Sanders (Danny) and Carolyn Hudson (Bobby); brother Leonard Thomas along with a host of other family and friends that will miss him dearly.
