Brenda Joyce Gay was born on December 19, 1961 to     Jessie Gay Collins and John Gay Jr. in Dallas, TX. She    received her education from Dallas Independent School   district.

She loved to cook and buy gifts for her family and make everyone laugh.

She was preceded in death by her father John Gay Jr. and her grandparents Jewell & Leonard Knox, John D. Gay Sr. and Esther Marsh.

Brenda memories will be forever cherished by her mother Jessie Collins; (3) sisters: Janice  Gay "Crawford" (Robert), Esther Gay "Casey" (Jimmy) and Lawanda Jackson; (1) brother: John D. Gay III, (3) nieces: Jasmine (Allen), Jessica R., Jessica G.; (5) nephews:   Deltran, Jimmy (Quea), John IV (Erica), Alvin, Kelvondrick and (6) great nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
