Brenda
Davis
Jul 20, 1949 — Mar 24, 2021
Sis. Brenda J. Davis was born to the parentage of LaSalle Davis Sr. and Holly Beatrice Sewell Davis on July 20, 1949, in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Franklin D. Roosevelt High School where she really enjoyed playing the saxophone as a member of the band. She had a passion for reading and took great pride in her unique penmanship. She retired after twenty years of working in home healthcare.
After accepting Christ and being filled with the Holy Spirit she joined Full Gospel Holy Temple. As a faithful member for over forty nine years, she worked diligently encouraging others in the word and in good deed. Brenda Davis meek and humble; yet, unmovable in her faith.
The following siblings preceded her in death: Beverly Reeves, Francis Phyllis Bryant, Charles Etta Wright, Mollie Vell Griggs, Melvie Davis Washington and Lidth Fay Sly, James Leroy Fonteno and LaSalle Davis Jr.
Brenda leaves to cherish her memories: her son Anthony D. Davis (Felecia L. Davis); three sisters: Arlene Delores Malena, Roxie Louise Davis, Jessie Edith Brown and one brother Gerald Davis. She was a proud grandmother to Mycah, Rodrick, Xavier, Christopher, Zocoria; great grandmother to Journiie, Jazya, Cami and God granddaughter Bailee Rainey; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and Full Gospel Holy Temple family and friends. To God be the glory for the things he has done.
