Bobby R. Grant was born on June 25, 1951 in Dallas, Texas to Maggie Jones and Booker T. Grant. He attended South Oak Cliff High School. He was a master welder throughout his life. He was also am entrepreneur, serving his community with quality lawn care with Father & Son Yard Service, he was also a foster parent.

Bobby leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife Barbara Grant; (5) children: Sharon Walker (Stacy), Shaleka Davis, Qrenetta Olds, Ricky White and Randon Gray; (5) siblings: Wesley Whalon (Shelly), Florence King (Otis), Chauncey Grant (Pam),    Judy Scott (Marshall) and Sonja Grant along with a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
