Bobbie C. Tankersley-Bell was born January 11, 1945 to the parents of Yancy Allen Tankersley and Dorothy Faye Tankersley. She attended schools in both Denton and Dallas school district. She accepted Christ and was raised Pentecostal at an early age. She was in management for many years, she was also a PBX  Operator for the Fairmont Hotel and  after numerous years of dedicated service she retired in 1993. She later returned to the workforce for Clark Manor Funeral Home where she met and married the love of her life Oscar Eugene Bell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, sister Joyce E. Hicks and nephew Jon Allen.

Bobbie leaves to cherish her memory (4)     children: LaDwuan "Lay" Tankersley (Stacy), Brigitte "Brig" Tankersley-Biggs, Raphael "Phil" Tankersley, Davian "Weet" Tankersley; (1) brother Christopher Tankersley; (1) niece Faytra Hicks; (3) grandchildren: Bronwanee "Bronnie" Wilkerson, Indira "Indi" Wilkerson and Dy'Mia Johnson; (11) great grandchildren; (2) great-great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
