Bobbie Jean Jones was on August 14, 1933 in Corsicana, Texas to the parentage of the late Alice and Theodore Jones, who preceded her in death.  Bobbie Jean Jones was affectionately called "Aunt Bobbie" by all who knew her, no matter the relationship. Bobbie attended Corsicana Independent School District and graduated from Jackson High School in 1952.

Bobbie received her certified Nursing Assistant Certificate from Mansfield Business School. She used her CNA to serve Silent Night Nursing Center. She later became self employed and gained clients who became family. Bobbie is a matriarch of the Jones family, she gave her words of wisdom and history to whomever was in her presence.

In addition to her parents Bobbie was preceded in death by her son, Theodore "Butch" Jones; her brother Larry Jones; sister, Vera Lee McDonald (Aunt Pudding), and Alberta Youman (Big Sugar).

Bobbie is survived by her daughter, Cathey Jones; grandsons Alvis Jones (Gabby); and Roderick McDonald; great grandchildren, Alvis (AJ) Jones Jr., Riley McDonald, and Amari "Jack" Jones; sisters, Agnes Jimmerson, Onie Wallace, and Alice Davis (Rufus); brother, Harry Jones and a host of other relatives and friends.
