Bobbie Jean Allen also known as “Fats” was born on September 18, 1962, in Dallas, TX to the late Mr. and Mrs. Leonrd and Dorothy Allen. She accepted Christ at an early age. She joined Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, TX and later joined Carver Heights Baptist Church in Dallas, TX. Bobbie attended Woodrow Wilson High School.

She has worked many years to help rebuild lives for mental health and rehabilitation at Homeward Bound and she retired from Solis Counseling in 2014. Her legacy will continue to live on in our hearts and minds.

Loved ones she joins in eternal life alongside her parents, husband Daryl Mathis, (2) brothers: Leonrd Allen Jr. and Daniel Allen Sr., sister Beveryly Allen, nephew Quince Evans and niece Demetra King.

Bobbie leaves behind to cherish her memories (2) sons: Vidal (Latrice) Allen and Ventrell Allen; bonus sons Eric (Ashanti) Else; (2) grandsons: Vidal Allen Jr. and Connor Allen; (2) sisters: Alice Jackson and Joyce Jones; a special friend Lee Henderson along with a host of other family and dear friends.
