Aubrey Joe Easley was the first of 10 children. Born to the parents Henry Easley and Odessa Horton. He graduated from G.W. Carver in        Seagoville, Texas. He went on to further his education by attending  Anderson County Junior College were he successfully received an          Associates Degree. He also graduated from Barber College were he received license to be a professional Barber.

He was preceded in death by his wife Rose Easley and his parents Henry Easley and Odessa Horton and his son James Sowels.

He leaves to cherish his memory to (1) sons Harvey Sowels; (1) daughter Charlott Collier-Coleman; (4) sisters: Gloria, Nina, Millicent and Paula along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loved ones and friends.
