Arthur G. Walker was born on December 7, 1952, in Garland, Texas, to Willie Walker Sr. and Lucille Moore-Walker. He attended public schools in Dallas and graduated from Franklin D. Roosevelt High School.

In  June of 1972, he married Mary McGee. Arthur devoted over 30 years to his career as a General Insurance Agent, earning the respect of clients and colleagues for his integrity, dedication, and expertise. A true jack of all trades, Arthur could fix, build, or solve just about anything and he did it all with a warm, welcoming smile.

Known for his humor and wisdom, Arthur had a way of making every conversation memorable. He often said, "You're just bumping your gums" or "You don't mean it," phrases that reflected his playful, thoughtful personality.

Arthur was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan who loved cheering on his team with family and friends. He also cherished the beach, enjoying swimming and the simple joy of time spent near the water.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Walker Sr. and Lucille Moore-Walker, and brother, Samuel Walker.

Arthur leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Tamika Walker; three sons: Aurthur Walker Jr., Derrick Winn, and Derrick McGee (Shenetha); one sister, Barbara Valentine (Isaac); one brother, Willie Walker Jr. (Betty); twelve grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

We release our beloved Arthur into God's hands, grateful for his love, guidance, and the countless memories we will forever cherish.
