Mrs. Annette Bennett Collins was born March 21, 1939 to the parents of  Lillie Mae Vaughn and Clyde Vaughn in Dallas, Texas. She attended Lincoln High School with   Dallas Independent School District.

She received Christ at an early age. She was a member of Peoples Missionary Baptist Church for many years.

Annette loved playing softball, traveling, fishing, shopping, playing card wither family and friends. She was a very    loving and caring person. She loved to cook and invite her family over to eat on Sundays.

She was preceded in death by her mother Lillie Mae Vaughn, father Clyde Vaughn, her sons: Gary Bennett and Lorenzo Bennett, a granddaughter Scheniqua Bennett,    sisters: Janie McCoy, Clydie Mae Smith and Ida Bennett and a brother Jessie Criss.

Annette leaves to cherish glorious memories with her two daughters: Sharon Bennett Fowler and Loleta Bennett; one son Ricky Bennett; her baby sister Nancy Roney; eight grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
