On February 22, 1991 God graced us with an angel Alonzo D. Edwards. He was born to Lakeisha S. Day of Dallas, Texas.

Alonzo Edwards was loved by so many and was a very humble, caring loving individual. Alonzo graduated from New Beginnings Christian Academy in 2009 and was only 3 classes short of his Associates Degree in Business              Management at Cedar Valley College.

He loved to work and travel. He worked for Amazon as a Fork lift driver/Package Handler. He loved to listen to music. Education was a big part of his life. He loved reading and he wanted to write a book.

He was preceded in death by his great grandmother Thelma T. Day and great grandfathers: El Ray Day and Charles Proctor (Lakeisha's Dad).

Alonzo Edwards leaves behind those who loved and cherished him beloved & devoted mother Lakeisha Day-Canady; stepfather/bonus dad Migquel Canady; life partner Joshua Torrence; mother-in-love Susie Collins; brother Jerry Johnson (Anna); sister Ayesha Davis; (2)nieces Amaiya Grant and Ryia Williams; grandmother Shirley J. Day; aunt Lovilla Bables (Tarrion), (2)   uncles Tyrone Day (Terry) and Oneal L. Day; (3) special cousins: Eddie L. Rice Jr., Eric D. Rice, Dametra Casey-Harper and a host of other family and friends.
