Alice Mae Horn was born on January 15, 1949 to the parentage of Johnny & Vena Mae Horn in Dallas, Texas. She attended W.T. White High School.

She met Cecil Ward and to this union 3 children were born. To all that knew Alice knew she was very quiet. Although quiet she was the sweetest and most kind person you have ever met. She loved to help anyone who was in need. She shared her home and resources willingly.

Alice loved playing Bingo and doing word search puzzles as well as coloring. Her favorite color was purple. She retired from    Golden Acres Nursing Home in Garland, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Johnny & Venia Mae Horn, (2) sisters: Doris Horn & Dorothy Johnson and her brother Frank Horn.

Alice leaves behind to cherish her memories (3) children: Carolyn, Karen and Mark; (7) grandchildren; (8) great grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
